I really don't know what was going through my head at that moment. The lip syncing/dubbing could have been inspired by Ashlee Simpson and the dance movement's choreography could have been inspired after I watched Robert DeNiro in Stardust as Captain Shakespeare. Who knows? At what lengths am I gonna reach to get some cheap laughs after embarrassing myself like so.

Some Facts about the song, original version in Turkish called Simarik/Şımarık by Tarkan.

As Tarkan's first major single, the song is generally considered his debut single. He had released three albums before this, but never released a song in single format due to the album-orientated nature of the Turkish music industry.

The song has also appeared in soundtracks of various movies, including French movie Beau Travail and American movie XX/XY.

The single is generally considered Tarkan's signature song in Europe. Its chorus ends with two characteristic kiss sounds.
